Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Registration
Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) is a policy approach under which producers are given a significant responsibility – financial and/or physical – for the treatment or disposal of post-consumer products. Assigning such responsibility could in principle provide incentives to prevent wastes at the source, promote product design for the environment and support the achievement of public recycling and materials management goals.

CPCB takes approximately around 6-8 months for scrutinizing the documents and complete the registration process.

Copies of agreement with dismantlers, recyclers and Treatment, storage & disposal facilities (TSDFs) etc
Declaration for availability of technical documents per EN 50581
Copy of permissions / licenses from the relevant ministry / department for marketing various products or for doing the business such as:
GST
PAN
Incorporation certificate
IEC
Self attested copy of authorisation of dismantlers / recyclers
List of products attached with dismantlers / recyclers along with producer’s collection targets
